NFL Week 10 – Picks
Every Sunday I will be making picks for each game of every week. The game that occurs before that Sunday will be picked in the previous article of updated power rankings each week. This past Thursday, I correctly picked the Colts to beat the Jaguars. Here are the rest of my picks for Week 10:
Week 10 (Winners in Bold and Italicized):
BUF @ NE – Should not even be a close one, but you never know with in-division games.
SD @ TB – Buccaneers offense has been red-hot last few weeks, and should be able to beat a solid Chargers team.
DEN @ CAR – Panthers seemed to have figured things out, but the Broncos are too much for them.
OAK @ BAL – Could be a closer game than many expect, but the Ravens should be able to win this one.
TEN @ MIA – If the Dolphins lose this one, their playoff hopes could be down the drain.
ATL @ NO – UPSET! Falcons will finally get their first loss as Brees and the offense will do enough to prevent the Falcons from going undefeated.
NYG @ CIN – Bengals haven’t had success against the better teams in the NFL, and even though the Giants have not been playing good football the last few weeks, they should be able to take this game.
DET @ MIN – Lions are coming into the game with lots of momentum, and the Vikings have been struggling. With Harvin out, I expect the Lions to take this one on the road.
NYJ @ SEA – Almost impossible to beat the Seahawks in Seattle, plus the Seahawks are the better team.
STL @ SF – Rams always fight, but the 49’ers should take this one.
DAL @ PHI – Battle of the under-achievers with terrible O-line and suspect coaching. Cowboys D-line should have a field day against the Eagles, and their secondary should be able to stop the Eagles aerial attack.
HOU @ CHI – Terrible weather tonight, but the Texans are a running football team. Battle of great defenses, and both teams are capable on offense. If Texans can handle the Bears special teams, then they should be able to win this battle on SNF.
KC @ PIT – Ummm…Do we need anything on this game?
That wraps up the picks for week 10. I will update my (hopefully) above .500 record every Tuesday or Wednesday. Looking forward to having a great Sunday. Good luck to your hometown team, and as always, Go Texans!
