NFL Week 7 – Picks Revisited

Every Tuesday or Wednesday I will go over the previous week of games, with a note or two on the game. To see my picks and notes for the past week, check the previous post. Here we go!

Week 7 (Predicted Winners in Bold and Italicized) (If the pick has a line through it, then I incorrectly picked that team to win):

NO @ TB – Game came down to a last second play, but the Saints pulled through.

ARZ @ MIN – Vikings defense really did a great job keeping the ball away from Fitzgerald.

WSH @ NYG – Great game came down to last few plays. RG3 did great job fighting, but Eli hit Cruz for the game-winner.

CLE @ IND – Colts held on to a close one, as the Browns weren’t able to make a comeback.

DAL @ CAR – Another close game as Cam Newton was not able to lead the Panthers to a comeback victory.

TEN @ BUF Buffalo seemed to have this game in hand, but Fitzpatrick threw a late pick, and Tennessee was able to convert on 4th down and score the last touchdown of this no-defense game.

GB @ STL – Rodgers looks to have his mojo back as the Packers beat the Rams.

BAL @ HOU – Houston’s defense looks to have adjusted to the loss of Cushing. Houston showed why they are the best team in the AFC.

NYJ @ NE – Close game that Jets should have won. Jets had multiple opportunity to put the game away, but couldn’t do it.

JAX @ OAK – A game that seemed like no team wanted to win, but the Raiders were able to make the comeback for the win.

PIT @ CIN – Steelers without two RB’s proved to be no problem for the Steelers as Dwyer was able to carry the load.

DET @ CHI – Seemed like the Bears would be able to pull away early, but they couldn’t do much on offense. Bears defense destroyed the Lions and this game wasn’t as close as the score shows.

Overall Week 6 Record: 10-2

Overall Season Record: 64-39

Power Rankings for Week 8 will be up before game time on Thursday.
