NFL Week 6 – Picks Revisited

Every Tuesday or Wednesday I will go over the previous week of games, with a note or two on the game. To see my picks and notes for the past week, check the previous post. Here we go!

Week 6 (Predicted Winners in Bold and Italicized) (If the pick has a line through it, then I incorrectly picked that team to win):

PIT @ TEN – Banged up Steelers got upset at TEN. Will this game be the start of a bounce back for CJ?

IND @ NYJ – Terrible upset call as Greene had a career game. Luck struggled to make throws he is capable of making.

OAK @ ATL – Raiders played well until an Asante Samuel Pick-6 sealed the deal for the Falcons.

CIN @ CLE – Should have stuck with my gut and had Browns here. Oh well! Browns played a great game and Dalton struggled to make a comeback.

KC @ TB – Chiefs with an unimpressive effort. Bucs offense finally got rolling a bit.

STL @ MIA – Legatron (Greg Zuerlien) missed a few kicks he normally hits. Dolphins win by 3.

DAL @ BAL – Pretty much had the upset call correct until Garrett and Bailey blew the GW-FG.

DET @ PHI  The Eagles again cough up a 4th quarter lead and Lions come away with the win.

BUF @ ARZ – Good last minute switch to the Bills. Close game, but Buffalo escaped with the win.

NE @ SEA- Patriots looked to be rolling into the half, but a bad last play to end first half cost the Patriots points, and ultimately the game.

NYG @ SF – If Giants can play like that every week they would be one of the best in the game.

MIN @ WSH – RG3 with a huge TD run to seal the win for the Redskins.

GB @ HOU Texans looked terrible and undisciplined on the big stage. Rodgers looked like the Rodgers of last year with an impressive showing.

DEN @ SD – I had Rivers and my friend had Manning and I had a 2point lead. After the half he thought he lost, but I told him Manning will make a comeback and win. I guess unfortunately I was right. Manning played a great game the WHOLE game even though the first half might have looked rough, he had a TD taken away on a Decker slip, and then threw a pick-6 on that drive due to miscommunication with a WR.

Overall Week 6 Record: 5-9

Overall Season Record: 54-37

Power Rankings for Week 7 will be up before game time on Thursday.
