NFL Week 6 – Picks
Every sunday I will be making picks for each game of every week. The game that occurs before that sunday, will be picked in the previous article of updated power rankings each week. This past thursday, I incorrectly picked the Steelers to beat the Titans. Here are the rest of the picks for Week 6:
Week 6 (Winners in Bold and Italicized):
IND @ NYJ – Colts playing with heavy hearts and with momentum. Jets continue to trend downward as the Colts come into NY and beat the Jets.
OAK @ ATL – Raiders shouldn’t give the Falcons much of a worry. Falcons stay undefeated.
CIN @ CLE – Originally had this as Browns winning, but Bengals have done a good job beating the teams they are supposed to beat. This should be a pretty close game.
KC @ TB – Maybe a game that no one watches. Bucs at home should be able to handle the Chiefs.
STL @ MIA – Miami has looked pretty solid this year, and should be able to handle the Rams in Miami.
DAL @ BAL – Upset! Cowboys come into Baltimore with rest, and beat the Ravens.
DET @ PHI – Vick has a breakout game as the Lions continue to struggle to win football games.
BUF @ ARZ – Last minute switch! Going with the upset and the road team.
NE @ SEA- Patriots offense v.s. Seahawks defense should be a fun matchup to watch, however the Patriots defense should be able to stop the Seahawks offense.
NYG @ SF – Niners have been playing some great football last few weeks. Should be able to hold off the Giants in this good game.
MIN @ WSH – Healthy RG3 helps the Redskins, but the Vikings are playing really well.
GB @ HOU – Loss of Cushing hurts the defense, but the D-line should have a field day against the Packers O-line.
DEN @ SD – Broncos have been product of tough early schedule losing to the Falcons, Texans, Patriots. They are better than their 2-3 record, and they show it on MNF beating the Chargers.
That wraps up the picks for week 6. I will update my (hopefully) above .500 record every sunday. Looking forward to having a great sunday. Good luck to your hometown team, and as always, Go Texans!
