NFL Week 5 – Picks Revisited
Every Tuesday or Wednesday I will go over the previous week of games, with a note or two on the game. To see my picks for the past week, check the previous post. Here we go!
Week 5 (Predicted Winners in Bold and Italicized) (If the pick has a line through it, then I incorrectly picked that team to win):
ARZ @ STL – Rams played a good game, and defeated the Cardinals on TNF.
ATL @ WSH – Good game, but Atlanta made big defensive plays against the rookie QB Cousins to go to 5-0.
BAL @ KC – A very boring game to watch.
PHI @ PIT – Steelers won on a last second FG to beat out the Eagles. Vick needs to stop fumbling.
MIA @ CIN – As I expected the Dolphins upset the Bengals. Dolphins playing good football.
GB @ IND – Packers embarrassed in Indy. Colts fought hard for their sick coach #ChuckStrong.
CLE @ NYG – Giants able to handle the Browns pretty easily.
CHI @ JAX – Bears defense continues to prove it’s one of the best in the game.
CAR – I just can’t figure the Panthers out. I guess they are, who I didn’t think they were.
DEN @ NE – Manning tried to make the comeback but Patriots were able to pull away.
TEN @ MIN – Vikings a fun team to watch.
BUF @ SF – 49′ers making a strong case that they are the best in the NFC.
SD @ NO – Brees breaks the record and the Saints finally win their first game.
HOU @ NYJ – Texans played terrible and the Jets made this game close, but Texans were able to improve to 5-0.
Overall Week 5 Record: 10-4.
Overall Season Record: 49-28
