NFL Week 5 – Picks
Every sunday I will be making picks for each game of every week. The game that occurs before that sunday, will be picked in the previous article of updated power rankings each week. This past thursday, I incorrectly picked the Cardinals to beat the Rams. Here are the rest of the picks for Week 4:
Week 5 (Winners in Bold and Italicized):
ATL @ WSH – Should be a pretty good game, but the Falcons should prevail.
BAL @ KC – Ravens in what should be a blowout.
PHI @ PIT – Should be a fun game in the battle for Pennsylvania. I’ll take the Eagles to defeat the Steelers.
MIA @ CIN – The Bengals have a good track record in the last few years of beating the teams they should, however I think they will take the Dolphins lightly, and the Dolphins will upset the Bengals in Cincinnati.
GB @ IND – Packers should handle the Colts pretty easily.
CLE @ NYG – Finally have a home team winning a game today. Defending champs over the Browns.
CHI @ JAX – Bears on the rode should manhandle Gabbert and the Jaguars.
SEA @ CAR – The two teams that I have had trouble picking are playing each other. I’ll take the Panthers in this battle.
DEN @ NE – Manning v.s. Brady. Gimme Brady.
TEN @ MIN – The surprising Vikings should be able to go 4-1.
BUF @ SF – 49’ers should be able to handle the Bills.
SD @ NO – I think the Saints finally win their first game of the season.
HOU @ NYJ – I’d be shocked if the Jets even scored a TD against the Texans. A matchup that is terrible for the Jets on paper, the Texans should blowout the Jets on MNF.
That wraps up the picks for week 5. I will update my (hopefully) above .500 record every sunday. Looking forward to having a great sunday. Good luck to your hometown team, and as always, Go Texans!
