NFL Week 4 – Picks Revisited

Every Tuesday or Wednesday I will go over the previous week of games, with a note or two on the game. To see my picks for the past week, check the previous post. Here we go!

Week 4 (Predicted Winners in Bold and Italicized) (If the pick has a line through it, then I incorrectly picked that team to win):

CLE @ BAL – Browns made it a close one, but the Ravens did enough to win this one at home.

SF @ NYJ – Jets lose this game bad, lose Holmes for the year, not much hope for them this year.

NE @ BUF – This was a good game the first half, and then the Patriots ran away.

SEA @ STL – Mr. Zuerlien has a helluva of a leg, very impressive game by him.

MIN @ DET The Vikings are a very underrated team, and the Lions are very overrated. Would not be surprised if the Lions end in the cellar this year.

TEN @ HOU – Texans continue to show their dominance.

SD @ KC – Big win for the Chargers against a division opponent on the road.

CAR @ ATL – I thought the Panthers should have gone for the win on 4th and 1. They did great job putting ATL on the 1 yard line, but that didn’t stop Ryan and Falcons to win on a game-winning FG.

CIN @ JAX – Bengals know how to beat the teams they are supposed to beat, remains to be seen if they can beat the good teams.

OAK @ DEN – Great game by Manning and the Broncos.

MIA @ ARZ – Dolphins showed up and played really well, but Arizona was able to escape with the victory.

NO @ GB – And the Saints are now 0-4. Who Dat nation, where you at?.

WSH @ TB The Skins win a close one in Tampa Bay.

NYG @ PHI – Tough way to lose for the Giants in a crucial division game.

CHI @ DAL – Very nice win for the Bears in Jerry Jones World.

Overall Week 4 Record: 12-3.

Overall Season Record: 39-24

Power Rankings for Week 5 will be up before game time on Thursday.
