NFL Week 2 – Picks
Every sunday I will be making picks for each game of every week. The game that occurs before that sunday, will be picked in the previous article of updated power rankings each week. This past thursday, I correctly picked the Packers to beat the Bears. That puts me at a 12-5 mark on the season. Here are the rest of the picks for Week 2:
Week 2 (Winners in Bold and Italicized):
KC @ BUF – Chiefs still a bit banged up on defense, and Spiller extremely explosive. Expect a good game, but I’ll take the home team.
NO @ CAR – I predicted wins for both of these 0-1 teams last week. I expect the Saints to beat Newton at home.
TB @ NYG – Bucs played extremely well against Newton last week, and I expect a good game here. Taking the G-Men.
CLE @ CIN – Don’t think the Browns are good enough to win 3 games this year. This won’t be a win for them.
BAL @ PHI – Should be a fun game to watch. Gimme the Ravens.
OAK @ MIA – I was impressed with Tannehill last week, and expect him to play well again. Miami in the upset.
HOU @ JAX – JAX banged up, Houston should run all over them. Texans in a blowout.
MIN @ IND – I like AP to run all over the Colts today.
ARZ @ NE – New England at home against the Cardinals. New England should win pretty easily.
WSH @ STL – I expect Washington to win, though STL will put up a good fight. Should be a pretty good game.
DAL @ SEA – Cowboys looked good in opener, and their defense should be able to stop the SEA run game.
TEN @ SD – Chargers need to execute better in redzone, but they should win this game.
NYJ @ PIT – Both teams missing key players, I’ll take the home-team Steelers in this game.
DET @ SF – Should be a fun game, as a top offense goes against a top defense. I’ll take the 49’ers.
DEN @ ATL – What should be a high scoring game, will go to the Falcons.
That wraps up the picks for week 2. I will update my (hopefully) above .500 record every sunday. Looking forward to having a great sunday. Good luck to your hometown team, and as always, Go Texans!
